Work together, live together, forever together!

Our story starts fresh out of college in Charlotte, NC beginning our careers in digital advertising. We were, and still are, the people at fault for the annoying banner ads across the internet. And although we were on separate accounts, we were two out of a three person team with most of our interactions consisted of team trainings and vendor outings. Admittedly, we each thought the other was a little weird (which is not a bad thing). But then the world changed, and Covid started. For most people Covid was an isolating time, but in a twist of fate it brought us closer together. Because of Covid, Virgille had to transfer to a different department, leaving Brandon with the remains of her work. Two hour transition calls talking business grew into five hour calls talking about nothing in particular. And as weeks turned into months, the work talk shortened, the hours texting grew and we finally deemed it safe to meet in-person. We watched horror movies, ate frozen appetizers, and the rest is history. Eventually the city reopened and we visited every park, attended every free event, and slowly but surely, fell in love.

More time passed, things were going well, but didn’t feel settled just yet. After a lot of consideration, we moved in together into Virgille's unoccupied childhood house in Athens GA. Two U-Hauls later, we had 2 hobby rooms, a large yard, and 24-hours a day and 7-days a week together! And it went great! We were adulting but with $0 rent (thank you Sonon Mom & Dad!). And in return we painted, updated light fixtures, replaced a bathroom vanity, and removed downed trees. But more excitingly, we had a new state to explore! With the help of an amazing blue hatchback we visited old bridges, lake-dams, and 6 out of the 7 Natural Wonders of Georgia. We picked apples, plucked strawberries, climbed mountains, and went sky-diving! We even attended a college soccer and football game, Go Dawgs! But most importantly, in the aftermath of a hurricane Brandon asked Virgille to be his forever!

The next chapter of our lives together is our biggest adventure yet. We moved to the big city of Chicago! Why Chicago? Why not Chicago? A 15-minute walk to work, and regular fireworks from our window, plus we have quick access to walk along the river, or ride our bikes along the lake. All it costs is a pretty penny, and a shot of Malort to make it go down. But hey, less rooms to clean, no yard work, and free maintenance. And so our story continues, living happily, exploring everything we can.

We are so excited to have you all here to celebrate our 6th year together and the start of our marriage.
