Yes- the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception will all take place on the hotel grounds with views of the Andes. Si-todo sera en el hotel con vista a los Andes.
If you are staying at the hotel: You can come down any time before the ceremony. Pre-ceremony cocktail starts at 12:00pm and the ceremony begins at 12:30 pm. If you're not staying at the hotel: Please plan to arrive by 12:00pm if you'd like to join the pre-ceremony cocktail. If not, just make sure you're seated before 12:30 pm for ceremony.
The celebration will take place outside where the spring weather is mild during the day and cooler in the evening. Cocktail attire with a Vineyard Chic touch-elegant but comfortable for an outdoor setting. Women: We recommend block heels, wedges or dressy flats, as the ceremony will take place on grass. Consider bringing a wrap or light shawl for the evening breeze.
Yes- our celebration will be adults-only, except for immediate family children. Si, solo para adultos (excepto ninos de familia directa).
Our reception will be informal and relaxed, centered around enjoying great food, wine, and company. Guest will experience a taste of Argentinian hospitality, featuring a traditional asado-style dinner with a variety of grilled meats, fresh salads, and local sides- all complemented by wines. Dinner will follow by dessert (lG: mompasteleria), and late-night bites along with open bar (IG: BEATSBARARGENTINA) offering wine, beer, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, please share them when you RSVP so we can accommodate you. Come hungry and ready to dance under the stars!
Fly into Mendoza internation airport (MDZ)- about 1 hour from venue. Most flights from the U.S. connect through Buenos Aires or Santiago, Chile before arriving in Mendoza. ********Important note*********** If your flight connects in Buenos Aires, please be aware the city has two aiports- Ezeiza (EZE) and Aeroparque (AEP). You may land in Ezeiza but need to take your connection from Aeroparque, which is about an hour away, depending on traffic. You can also schedule private transportation to pick you up, catch the shuttle or the airline might already provide you with connection transportation to the airport. Josh and I had to make this transfer ourselves during morning rush hour- it took about an hour, but once we go tout the city, the drive was smooth. Al aeropuerto internacional de Mendoza (MDZ).
We will be working with a trusted transportation company, and arrangements can be made for airport pick-up and drop-off to your hotel or Airbnb (and vice versa). If you would like assistance coordinating transportation, please share your flight details, arrival/departure times, and the number of guests in your party. We’re more than happy to help arrange everything for you. If you prefer to coordinate directly, we can gladly provide the company’s contact information so you can book transportation on your own.
Gran Hotel Protrerrillos will be exclusively for our wedding guests Friday-Sunday. Once the final RSVP is made, I will be sending over the guest list to the hotel manager. The guest will email the hotel to RSVP their room. Guest won't be able to RSVP the rooms through the website since it's blocked to the public. We will provide more information once the final guest list is confirmed. Guests who prefer to stay at nearby Airbnbs or hotels are more than welcome to do so. Complimentary transportation will be provided to and from the wedding events. Please note that if multiple pick-up locations are required, the pickup time may vary based on distance to ensure all guests arrived at the ceremony promptly. The local currency is the Argentina Peso (ARS). Credit cards are widely accepted, but it's good idea to have cash on hand for small shops and taxis. We were able to use our uber app to get around and pay via CC on file. Not all places accept American Express. If you are planning to exchange money, please make sure the bills are brand new (no scratch, no dent, nothing or you won't get the best exchange rate or accepted). You can also go through your bank and exchange to pesos.
October in Mendoza is springtime- expect sunny days 70-80 degrees and cool evenings. Pack a light jackeet or wrap for nighttime events.

Yes. The hotel will be closed exclusively for our wedding, and only guests on our official rooming list will be able to stay on the property.
