Ben is one of Emily's older twin brothers. He used to live in Syracuse where Emily followed and got her first nursing job. Ben and his wife Amanda have since moved back to Maine and Emily followed once again. Ben and Amanda have a black lab named Pele and two young daughters, Olivia and Ella.
