We first met at a mutual friend’s birthday party in the winter of 2022. Vinny had already heard about me beforehand as “the blonde with the red Camaro” and, unbeknownst to me, was definitely intrigued. When we were finally introduced, we barely exchanged more than a couple of words, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t interested too. That night, we ended up spending hours together with our friends, and by the time 4 a.m. rolled around, we found ourselves at McDonald’s. I managed to get french fries all over his truck — something Vinny still won’t let me live down. Somewhere between the French fries and the late-night laughs, I knew he was someone special. After a few weeks of not seeing or speaking to each other, fate (and our friends) brought us back together for a group axe-throwing night. Later, a few of us decided to head to a bar for drinks, and that’s where Vinny finally worked up the courage to talk to me one on one. Hours of conversation flew by, and by the end of the night, we shared our very first kiss. From then on, it was clear there was something special between us — and the rest was history.

It was a beautiful, warm October day at Vinny's family farm. As the sun started to set, we were walking through the fields, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Vinny suggested we take a picture together (which should have been my first clue since he’s not usually one to insist on photos) and I said no at first since I was sweaty and thought I looked bad. After some convincing, we posed to take a picture. As we got ready, I noticed he had this little blue box. Before I knew it, he was down on one knee with the most gorgeous ring I’ve ever seen. I was completely caught off guard and had no idea he was planning this! Looking back, it was such a perfect moment—simple, unexpected, and full of love. It’s a day I’ll never forget!
