...Or in Ryan and Amber's case - alongside many many packages. Ryan and Amber initially met in 2017 while working for Amazon near Columbus, Ohio. They started off just as friendly co-workers. They'd check in and chat as they bumped into each other around their work areas but it wasn't until about a year later when they would become closer friends and begin hanging out. Despite Ryan and Amber then being on opposite schedules, they worked out times to meet. As time went on, changes came including Ryan moving back to St. Louis to be closer to home and back with his family. As Ryan and other friends moved, job roles changed, and things got busy, Ryan and Amber lost contact. They both continued to climb the Amazon ladder earning promotions, Amber moved to MO, and both worked through the chaos that covid brought - eventually leading to them reconnecting while working in Missouri. When another building back in Ohio was recruiting, both Ryan and Amber signed on and became roommates in Akron alongside their friend Sabrina. Through the year of living together, Ryan and Amber became close - bonding over cooking gyoza in the kitchen, playing with Sabrina's dog Charlie, having nerf gun fights in the hallway, and visiting Highland Square with other friends. After all of this, when Ryan opted to join another building launch in Nashville, Amber was heartbroken to lose one of her best friends in Akron but promised to visit once Ryan got settled in. In September of 2021, Amber took a trip to Nashville to explore the area and visit Ryan. During that visit they realized life was better spent together. Amber and Ryan spent about a year and a half traveling back and forth across the long distance, until they found an opportunity to both transfer to Knoxville, Tennessee where they're still living today with their fur babies Kovu, Rwby, and Hoshi.
