Transport Logistics & Coordination

Please use this sheet to enter your travel information if you would like to coordinate transportation with other guests. Should their be large enough parties landing closely together, we can help arrange shuttle buses.

Flight

Milan (MXP), Venice (VCE), or Verona (VRN)

Lake Garda is nearly equidistant between Milan, and Venice, both of which service international flights. Traveling by car, the Gardone Riviera is approximately 2 hours. For many guests, flying into one of these major cities is an ideal starting or ending point, as you may choose to depart from an airport that is different than the one you fly into. You may also choose to fly into Verona, which is closer to Lake Garda, and services only domestic routes in Europe. Alternatively, Rome (FCO) offers non-stop flights to and from Los Angeles.

Getting To & From Lake Garda (Gardone Riviera)

Rental Cars All major rental car companies operate in Italy, and you can take your pick from 5+ options at major airports including Hertz, Enterprise, and Sixt. They all offer automatic transmissions, and are usually quite reasonable in cost. As an added bonus, picking up & dropping off rentals at different locations usually come at little additional cost. Private Transfers Private Transfers are the simplest transportation option available, and can accommodate groups up to 7 people, via www.lakegardatransfers.it. They offer pickups from Milan, Verona, and Bergamo. Trains Guests traveling into Lake Garda from outside of Milan or Venice may choose to travel by train. There are great options from Rome, France, Germany, and Switzerland which may be of interest. You will still need to travel by taxi or shuttle to get to the final destination.

Hotels & Accommodations

We invite our guests to arrive no later than Friday, and stay in the area known as Gardone Riviera, which sits on the Western Coast of Lake Garda. We have reserved a room block, and our travel agent Alex will handle updating your room reservation, if you complete the form that is in the link below, that says "View". You may also choose to explore options in Salo, but be advised that pickup & dropoff from the wedding venue will only happen from the Gardone Riviera, and you will be responsible for organizing your own transportation to & from that location. Below we have recommended 2 options for hotels, though you cannot go wrong with any of the hotels in the area or AirBnB. Hotel bookings will open for the 2024 summer season some time in October or November, and we encourage guests to book as soon as they open up.

Shuttle

Shuttle Boat To & From the Wedding Venue

June 15, 2024 2:00 pm - 1:00 am

Shuttle boats will pick up from the Gardone Rivera promenade, in front of the Hotel Savoy. There will be 2 pick ups starting at around 3 PM. The Shuttle boats will also offer 2 drop offs, first one will be approximately 10 or 11 pm, depending on demand, then a second one will drop off nearby to the afterparty location, departing around 12:30/1 AM.
