Vincent & Paula

Era junio del año 2020 y el mundo entero estaba aislado y separado. Ese era el contexto que Dios sabía que necesitaba usar para unir a Vincent y Paula. Una noche, Vincent y su amigo Carlos decidieron comenzar a leer juntos el libro de Isaías en línea todas las noches. Poco después, su amiga Ari decidió unirse a ellos. Disfrutaron leyendo la Biblia juntos, conociendo más a Dios, orando unos por otros y simplemente hablando hasta altas horas de la noche. Después de aproximadamente un mes de reunirse casi todas las noches, Ari sintió que Dios le decía que invitara a su actual líder de adoración de la iglesia, Paula, al pequeño estudio bíblico. Al principio dudó, pero decidió obedecer la voz de Dios. Ariela se acercó a Paula y la invitó a la pequeña reunión de Zoom esa noche. Vincent y Paula están increíblemente agradecidos por la obediencia de Ari, porque esa noche los dos comenzaron a desarrollar una hermosa amistad que florecería en la relación que comparten hoy. Durante los siguientes 2 años, Vincent y Paula crecieron en su amistad a pesar de que vivían en países diferentes. En el año 2022, el Señor llamó a Paula para ir a la International House of Prayer University, donde Vincent estaba terminando su último año de estudios. Allí finalmente disfrutaron de una temporada de amistad pudiendo vivir cerca. Para finalmente poner fin a su etapa de solo ser amigos, Vincent y Paula decidieron comenzar su relación el 17 de mayo de 2022.

It was June of the year 2020 and the whole world was isolated and separated. That was the context God knew He needed to use to bring Vincent and Paula together. One night, Vincent and his friend Carlos decided to begin reading the book of Isaiah online together every night. Soon after, their friend Ari decided to join them. They enjoyed reading the Bible together, getting to know God more, praying for each other, and simply talking late into the night. After about a month of meeting almost every night, Ari felt God telling her to invite her current church worship leader, Paula, to the small Bible study. She was hesitant at first, but she decided to obey God´s voice. Ariela reached out to Paula and invited her to the small Zoom meeting that night. Vincent and Paula are incredibly grateful for Ari´s obedience, because that night the two began to develop a beautiful friendship that would blossom into the relationship they share today. For the next 2 years Vincent and Paula grew in their friendship even though they were living in different countries. In 2022, the Lord called Paula to go to the International House of Prayer University, where Vincent was finishing his last year of studies. There they finally enjoyed a season of friendship while living close by. To finally put an end to their stage of only being friends, Vincent and Paula decided to begin dating on May 17th, 2022.
