FAQs

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting, and the reception both indoors and outdoors. Keep in mind the ceremony will be on grass when selecting your footwear!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be a semi-formal event. Think dress pants, shirts, and ties for men and mini or midi length dresses for women. Please avoid jeans and shorts, but full suits and formal gowns are not required! We ask guests to refrain from wearing colors typically reserved for the bride, such as white, ivory, and cream.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask you to kindly RSVP by May 1st to give us time to give our vendors an accurate head count.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those guests listed on your invitation. When you RSVP you will see how many spots are reserved in your honor.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4 pm, so we ask you arrive 20-30 minutes early to find your seat!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! Walker Homestead has plenty of parking available!

Question

Can I leave my car at the venue overnight?

Answer

Yes! Guests are welcome to leave their car at the venue until 10am Sunday morning. Please stay safe and do not drink and drive!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
