Make sure you fly to Oahu! There are often sales for Feb/March, so be on the lookout for flight deals starting in the fall. My hula halau is a Hawaiian Airlines Preferred Affiliate. To receive a 5% travel discount, type in “NALEIHULU” in the Preferred Affiliate Program Code Box when booking tickets on Hawaiian Airlines. FYI, a good price from California during this time is less than $350 roundtrip. If you don't rent a car and stay somewhere in town (Honolulu), it should be a quick ~ 20 min Uber/Lyft/taxi ride.
