As many of you know, we held an intimate Jewish ceremony and wedding in June 2025 with just our immediate family. Our plan has always been to celebrate with all our friends and family at a later date (after Eden graduates from medical school). In order to plan the Chinese banquet wedding of our dreams we needed more time! This also allowed us to separately honor both Jewish and Chinese wedding customs. We hope you understand and we are so excited to celebrate with you!
The dress code is black tie optional. This means floor length or formal dresses are encouraged for women and tuxedos or formal suits with dress shoes are encouraged for men.
For those of you that have not had the pleasure of attending a Chinese wedding just yet, we would love to elaborate! Chinese weddings traditionally include a wedding banquet with multiple courses (10+) and symbolic foods. The wedding centers on this important banquet which signifies abundance, prosperity, and family unity. The purpose of the banquet is to bless the couple's future together. The food is served family style. Vincent's family is from the southern Chinese province of Guangdong. The Cantonese people, food, and traditions originate from this region. Get ready to try many new foods and enjoy some familiar ones with a Cantonese twist!
