The Wedding Website of Vincent Gimenez and Diedra Marcoccia
Here is some insight into travel and places to stay.

Travel Note

Traversing the city

Ride service apps like Lyft and Uber are very active in the city. They are the best way to get around while you are here. If you want to get out and see some of the hipper parts of town as parking can be at a premium in Broad Ripple, Mass Ave, and Fountain Square. BlueIndy is a 100% electric car sharing program with over 200 locations, 1,000 charging stations, and 500 cars throughout the city. If you need a vehicle that makes you feel like you are in a Mr. Bean film, this is your guy. If you are going to drive your own car or a rental to any of the busier parts of town you will most likely have to pay for parking. Parkindy has an app for your phone that allows you to input your spot number and pay for parking with just a few taps. Also, it will warn you if you are getting close to your time being up.

Travel Note

Indianapolis Airport

The Indianapolis airport is a very simple and easy airport to get in and out of (it's definitely no LAX). Security tends to be easy to get through and there are decent food options if you need to grab a bite to eat before your flight. If you haven't already scheduled transportation from the airport, we’d recommend Lyft or Uber. Lyft & Uber services are available from the airport to your selected destination. When using these services for pick-up, exit the terminal to the Ground Transportation Center on the first floor of the Terminal Garage. For pick-ups: head to the Ground Transportation Center For drop-offs: request a ride as usual and be dropped off at the main terminal building Car rental services are available of course... it is an airport. Wait have you never been to an airport before? Whoa.

Travel Note

AirBnB

The fishers area (the north side of Indianapolis where the wedding venue is) has a good selection of entire homes for rent that are 3 or 4 bedrooms. Splitting this among a few couples or family members is a very good way to have some extra space and cut some costs. Plus, you get to judge the way someone decorated their home and that’s the best part.

Travel Note

Hotels

There are a group of hotels at 96th Street and Highway 69. All with good reviews and close to stores, restaurants, and the highway. This area is easy to access right off Highway 69, and a simple drive to get to Connor Prairie for the wedding. We do not have rooms blocked off at these hotels, however the rates were very reasonable on their websites as well as the various travel sites. Here are a couple of these closer to the venue hotel options:
