FAQs

Question

Is there a Dress Code?

Answer

Yes! We kindly request that you stick to semi-formal or cocktail attire. For women, we recommend tea length dresses, or dressy skirts with a matching top. For men, we recommend suiting separates, dress shirts, and flat front trousers / dress shoes. Please refrain from wearing denim or polos. As this is a joyous event, we kindly request you do not wear all black. We also recommend breathable fabric, as this is an outdoor event!

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we love everyone, we kindly ask that you leave your children home with the sitter. The only children that will be present are very close family members. So please -- enjoy your night out without children.

Question

Can I bring a Plus One?

Answer

As this is an intimate family home wedding, we are very limited on space. Thus, we are not permitting guests to bring a plus one. All invited guests will be listed on the invitation or included in your web RSVP.

Question

Will there be parking?

Answer

As this is in our residential community, parking is limited. There are a number of side streets you can park on, but we ask you to respect our neighbors driveways and walkways. We recommend trying to carpool with another wedding party. You can also park at "Flowers Field" down the street and coordinate with another party to get to the house (less than .5 miles away) to conserve parking. Thank you!

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction ?

Answer

If you need accommodations for meals, please be sure to include this in your RSVP. We will make our best effort to accommodate. Please be aware, the cake is an area we cannot budge!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar, with a curation of our favorite cocktail classics! It is not a call bar, so please choose from the menu! Feel free to leave a tip for our bartender Devon + be responsible! There will also be sodas, tea, and water.

Question

Will there be shade?

Answer

There will be minimal shaded areas during the ceremony, and you may sit in direct sunlight for a brief period. Cocktail hour will be open air. The Reception will be covered. We don't anticipate high temperatures as this is early Summer, but please stay hydrated. Warm weather friendly fabric selections are recommended. As we live in the foothills, temperatures at night do drop significantly, so please bring a light sweater, it may be close to 60 degrees by evening.

Question

Where will I place a gift, if I bring one?

Answer

There is a digital registry on this website if you want to keep your hands free! If you choose to bring a gift the day of, please alert our day of coordinator, Francesca. For ease, we recommend a card (there will be a card box by the sign in table) or using our online gifting registry. We don't need much, but we appreciate greatly, gifts toward our honeymoon fund.
