Who would have thought that a work relationship would turn into a forever love? That cold winter day I would have never thought that I would meet the person I would be spending the rest of my life with. Now we have two different views of our meeting and becoming a couple. My honest first impression of him was, “Great of course they would put me on the mean person’s gate. He didn’t even speak smh”. Shockingly that head nod turned into a wonderful friendship. He used to always ask me on dates, and I always turned him down. One day I happened to be visiting my aunt and after I left, we had talk on the phone, and I told him I was by his house. He just so happened to be there, so I came over. We talked and chilled for like thirty minutes and we decided to go bowling when he got off work that night. We had a wonderful date and we have been locked in ever sense. Now here is the groom’s side of the story. I met Lexi one day I was doing overtime she was new to the area I thought she was cute. I asked her for her phone number only to get her Ig. So yes, I had to be that guy to slide in her dm lol. She would call me all hours of the night to talk about things and I would just try to give her the best advice since I felt like I was in the “friend zone”. Our chemistry and her calling me late nights to talk was fun and nice. She finally gave me a chance and we had a bowling date and we continued on I took her to Spondivits {which is a seafood restaurant} and all this woman order is wings smh but we got drunk and she paid for the drinks and I was mad because she didn’t tell me lol. I went on a trip to Brazil with my main man Lindsey and I realized how much I missed her because we couldn’t talk on the phone, I knew then she had me hooked. I asked her to be my girlfriend while laying in a bed joking that I should have written it in a letter. 6 years later while laying in the bed with our newborn I got on one knee and asked her to be my wife! #countingdowntoocooper
