What to expect?

Answer

We are incorporating Filipino and Vietnamese/Chinese elements within our wedding. This will include traditions such as a veil and cord (originating from the Philippines) during the ceremony and a prosperity dance during the reception.

What if I do not RSVP by the deadline?

Answer

If we do not receive an RSVP back from you by our specified deadline, you will be marked as "not attending". It’s important we must provide accurate guest counts to all of our vendors within a timely manner. Please reach out to Ellice Mae at 407-928-8332 if you may need accommodations with time. We hope to see you there!

Where can I park at the church?

Answer

St. James has a parking garage that is less than a one minute walk from the church. Please park in spots that say, "St. James Cathedral Parking Only." The parking garage is MAA Robinson located at 310 N. Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32801

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and camera be put away and turned to silent/off during the ceremony. We have hired professionals to capture some of the most important moments of our lives. It would be unfortunate for us to have a guest unintentionally photo bomb a photo while on their phone. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want! We promise to share the ceremony photos once we receive them!

What is for dinner?

Answer

Dinner will be served family style so be prepared to share with others! It will consist of Chinese/Vietnamese cuisine. If you have any allergies, please contact Ellice Mae at 407-928-8332 so we can coordinate with the caterer.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want to see you dressed to impress! We are excited to have a formal wedding and ask you to dress in black tie attire consisting of formal gowns and suits.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, there will be a place to share who your plus one will be when you RSVP. Thank you so much for understanding and joining us on our special day!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to have a limited number of kids allowed. We have a strict guest list to stay within our venue's capacity and our budget. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!
