Ours is a modern love story born in the middle of lockdown life — on Instagram, of all places. What started as a few messages quickly turned into hours of conversation, laughter, and the feeling that maybe something special had just begun. My first impression of him? Handsome, so sweet, and adorably funny — the kind of guy who makes you smile without even trying. His first impression of me (mask and all) was that I was beautiful, always smelled amazing, and had a calm, kind spirit that drew him in right away. From virtual chats to real adventures, our relationship grew through fun trips, endless laughter, and the joy of bonding with each others families — including our fur babies, Ash and Bear, who instantly became best friends. Then came the proposal. He chose Monterey — my favorite place — which quickly became our place. There was coffee, a sunset, our niece’s secretly playing photographers, and a very nervous man with a very bad cup of coffee. (Seriously, it was the worst coffee I’ve ever had — and he drank his like it was fine!) But none of that mattered, because in that perfect, funny, heart-melting moment, he asked me to marry him. Now, here we are — two people, one great story, and a lifetime of love, laughter, and hopefully better coffee ahead. ☕❤️
