During our trip to Maui, I woke Kiara up early one morning and drove to the summit of Puʻuʻulaʻula (Red Hill) to watch the sunrise together. As the sun slowly rose over the island and the sky lit up around us, it felt like the perfect moment. With Maui stretching out below us and the morning just beginning, I got down on one knee and asked Kiara to marry me. Thankfully, she said yes — and it became one of the most unforgettable moments of our lives and the perfect start to our forever.
