Maid of Honor
Brita and I met on April 28th, 1997 when Brita was born. I cried because I was so happy to have a little sister, and we've pretty much been inseparable ever since. Barbies and dress-up has turned into wine nights and raiding each other's closets. I feel inexplicably lucky to have her as my sister and best friend and I couldn't be happier to have her by my side on this important day (that we've *kind of* been planning since we were kids...)!
Bridesmaid
Kaytlin "KB" and I met on the first day of college at the University of Arizona. We immediately bonded over movie quotes, and the rest is history. We've supported each other through the ups and downs of our twenties, and she is a true ride or die. You can probably find us by the wine bar.
Best Man
I first met Dako when he arrived at VVS in 2008 in a bright yellow Hummer, sporting the latest in Ed Harley fashion. Despite his fashion choices, we soon became friends and have remained best friends ever since. Although he is known for his abilities to know everything and fix anything, he is also an amazing friend who has been through almost every good time and not so good time I have had in my adult life. From our travels in Malawi to working together at a ranch in Tucson, I couldn't have asked for a better friend to do it with.
Groomsman
Most of my early high school memories have Charlie somewhere mixed into it, whether he was hanging out outside my door room window, or we were hiking up to an abandoned cave. Even when Charlie moved to a different school, he would spend his time after school and most weekends hanging out with us. We went from friends to roommates during our time in Tucson, and spent our free time exploring Mt. Lemmon and the surround deserts of Tucson. Even through the distance of no longer living together, Charlie has remained a great friend and is still always down to go on an adventure!
Officiant
Raven is responsible for bringing Vince and I together in high school and has been a good friend of ours ever since! Raven and I were co-captains of our high school basketball team; I spent majority of practice time tracking her down and dragging her to the practice. But Raven had more skill in her pinky finger than the rest of the team combined, so it was necessary to drag her to practices. Raven and Vince rode horses and could likely be found on the quad on any given sunny afternoon. Now, Raven is finishing medical school and is an all-around badass.
