What should I wear?
Answer
For the wedding, we would love for everyone to wear Indian clothes if you have them. Knowing how extra we are with fashion, please don't hold back - the grander and the more jewelry, the better :) So yes ladies, pull out your matthapattis, flowers in your hair, loads of bangles. Men - kurtas/sherwanis, snazzy indian shoes, whatever you got! The same holds for reception - wear your fanciest saris, lehengas, and jewellery. Men - a nice suit or kurta/sherwani.

Will there be COVID-19 precautions?
Answer
Definitely. We would appreciate it if everyone could wear a mask and also email/text proof of vaccination to us prior to attending. We thank you in advance for helping keep the event safe for all guests!

So if the ceremony starts at 9AM, does that mean it actually starts at 10AM?
Answer
NO! We will not be operating in Indian Standard Time. Come by at 8:45AM - don't worry there will be drinks to get you through the early morning.

How far away are the wedding and reception venues?
Answer
The wedding is in our house in Ann Arbor, and the reception is in downtown Detroit. It's about a 40-45min drive between the two locations.

Where do I park for the reception in Detroit?
Answer
The reception venue has an attached parking garage which will be free of cost to all guests!

So is the party over at midnight?
Answer
Haha jokes. Preethi will be sleeping. Doddi will be turning up in Detroit, TBD.
