Lexi and Daniel met the old fashioned way, on a dating app called Hinge. Lexi was temporarily living in Phoenix, Arizona while doing a three month long clinical rotation during her final year of physical therapy doctoral program. Staying in Arizona long term was never the plan and she told Daniel as much when they first started talking on the app. She was only looking for someone to show her around Arizona during her time here. One drink date turned into hiking, meeting all of Daniel's friends, working out together, and watching Sunday football. When the three month deadline was closing in, the dreaded question was asked -- what do we do after this? Both the bride and groom loathed the idea of a long distance relationship but Lexi had 6 months left of her program to finish back in Minnesota. So, the pair decided that, as any rationale couple would, if they could make the 27 hour road trip from Arizona to Wisconsin together without killing each other they may be able to make the long distance thing work temporarily. Spoiler alert: no one was murdered on said road trip and as soon as Lexi graduated she moved to Arizona to be closer to Daniel. The next two years were filled with as much love, laugher, and adventure as either of them could hope for. The Newlyweds are beyond excited to keep sharing life's adventures together and creating the sweetest memories.
