We’re getting married!

After Michael's successful campaign for Spokane City Council, we decided to have a little vacation to celebrate and take time for ourselves. The 10 day trip to Orlando FL was filled with trips to Universal Orlando and Disney World. The last full day of our trip, we decided to drive to Daytona Beach and soak up some sunshine and feel the sand beneath our feet. Walking along the miles of white sand and taking in the breathtaking views, we stopped, Michael got down on one knee, of course the answer was yes!

As a result of the continued lockdown, numerous regulations, restrictions, and prohibtions imposed on us, our community, and the wedding industry by Governor Jay Inslee, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to drastically change our wedding plans. We are instead eloping in Las Vegas on Aug 22 and we will hold a modest reception instead once the Governor lifts his restrictions. You are welcome to join us in Vegas, but we recognize that for most this isn’t an option. We hate that we’ve been forced to make this change, but our options are few. Thank you for the outpouring support and love that Michael and I have received. We are looking forward to be able to celebrate our marriage with you! Love, Michael & Vina
