Bahia de Marbella
The neighborhood by the beach the happy couple and their family will be staying in. This is also where we plan to continue the celebration on Saturday, June 1st, 2024. It is located east of the city of Marbella, reachable by a beautiful walk along the promenade. (approx. 50min walk, 10min by car, 20min by bike). There will be a shuttle service to this neighborhood on the day of the reception. Look online for accommodation options in this area. There are quite a few rental apartments available, but these tend to book out early (local option i.e. Homewatch: https://www.homewatch.es/marbella-holiday-rentals). For a close-by upscale hotel option, look at Los Monteros below.

Staying in the city center of Marbella
Being a touristic hotspot with a charming old town, the coastal city attracts both international and Spanish visitors. Accordingly, there are plenty of hotels and apartment options, but be aware, they are in high demand during the spring and summer months. We can recommend Hotel Lima for couples and Hotel Princesa playa for families (see below for both hotels), as well as El fuerte and Gran Melia Don Pepe as an upscale option in the city. Again there are various apartment options (i.e. local option Homewatch: https://www.homewatch.es/marbella-holiday-rentals). The city center will also be connected to the wedding location by a shuttle bus on Friday for the reception.

A lovely hotel in the city center of Marbella, located in the east end towards our home in Bahia de Marbella. We have a small number of rooms pre-booked until the 10th of January. A shuttle service to and from this hotel will be available on the night of the wedding.

This is a < 10-minute beach walk from our home in Bahia de Marbella and a great option for those looking to play some tennis or spanish padel while in town. Sadly, as of Feb. 2024 it is still under complete renovation, so accomodation bookings are currently not available.
