Yes! It was important to us that our wedding was a one-stop-shop for the getting ready process, photos, ceremony, and reception. The only exception to this is that the after party will be held at the hotel.
Yes! It will take place lakefront on the beach. Plan to bring a jacket it may be a bit chilly!
We will have a 55-passenger motor coach shuttling back and forth between the hotel and the venue for drop off before the ceremony, and pick up after the reception. You can view more details about this on the “Travel” page!
The shuttle will depart the Hilton Garden Inn - Rockaway at 4:00pm for its first trip, and then again at 4:45 for its second trip. Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before the shuttle is scheduled to depart to ensure you don’t miss it!
Yes there is plenty of parking! The parking lot is located directly across the street from the venue.
The ceremony begins at 5:30, so we suggest arriving at 5:00pm so you can comfortably park, find your seat, and settle in.
We request that any additional desired guests not addressed on the invitation envelope are confirmed with the bride or groom prior to the wedding date.
We elected to have a kid-free wedding, so leave the kiddos with a sitter and prepare to take full advantage of our open bar!
We'll provide an open bar with a vast array of liquors, bottled beer, and wine selections. We only ask that you please tip your bartender!
Of course! We will be offering a vegetarian/gluten free entrée option, and any other special request can be written in on your RSVP card or mentioned directly to the bride and groom. We will take the necessary measures to be sure you are accommodated.
