Mark and Chelsea met back in the fall of 2014. Mark had just moved to start his first year of college in Alpine, Texas - where Chelsea lived and was going to high school. It was a pretty small town so it wasn't very hard to randomly meet each other. They hit if off effortlessly, and dated for a little while- but when Mark went home for Christmas break and he decided to stay there. They kept their friendship and stayed in touch for the next few years.

Towards the beginning of the year, Mark was in Moody with his son and family, and Chelsea was going to Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi. They had gotten back in touch, catching up - and it turned romantic {again} soon after. He asked to take her on a date, but being 4 hours apart- their schedules weren't lining up to both have the time to do so. A couple of weeks went by of them trying to make plans- and them just falling through for one reason or another, and they realized there was never going to be a “perfect time”. So, they spontaneously cleared their schedule, spent a weekend together, and the rest {as they say} is history.
