Matt and Sarah’s story began in January 2018. Each tired of the single life, they set out on a journey that has brought them to a place beyond what either had hoped possible... It was with both reservation and resolve that each joined an online dating site. But after only a few weeks, Matt, at least, had decided the "online thing" was not for him. By the Grace of God, however, a young lady was about to reach out to him that would turn his world upside down. By the end of the month their paths had crossed and conversation had begun. A first date followed a couple weeks later. Sarah couldn't help but be taken in by his dashing good looks and unmatched wit. Ok, well, truth be told, she's gorgeous and Matt is one lucky son-of-a-gun. Yeah, that's probably a more accurate portrayal. Anyway, from there the relationship grew, nourished by regular texting and time spent together. By Easter, both Matt and Sarah were becoming well acquainted with each other’s families. Adventures continued through spring and into summer with visits to the zoo, exploring new restaurants, racing Matt’s corvette, strolling around at festivals & holiday celebrations, and attending family functions. As October rolled around, Matt carefully crafted a plan to surprise Sarah. When she arrived, he asked her to close her eyes, and walked her into the house. You see, he had been working to refinish the kitchen and was excited to show her the progress. As she was prompted to open her eyes, he silently got down on one knee behind her. Having gazed at the beautiful work he had done, she turned to shower him with praise, only to find him poised to reveal another surprise. She did, thankfully, agree to marry him. By November, most of the major wedding details had been knocked out. Matt and Sarah spent their first Thanksgiving and Christmas together, sharing them with both families. As 2019 rolled around, they continued to work on wedding plans and eagerly look forward to the day they say ‘I Do’.
