We're Getting MARRIED!

In this day in age, trying to find your forever is getting harder and harder. Especially when you are single parents, working full time. Being able to go out and try to meet someone is hard. So what do you do to try to find your soulmate? Well go on a dating app of course lol. When you say that out loud it kind of seems embarrassing, but something Steven and I are so thankful for today. I decided one day that I was ready to start dating again. So I set up an account on Match.com and started looking around and see if there was anyone that I felt that I had some common interest with. Well that was a BIG NO! Let me just say there are some very strange people on there. After being on the site for only 2 days, I was like this is not going to work. I was about to delete my account when here comes Mr. Villatoro sending me a message. He was very sweet, and very blunt about who he was, and his intentions. I really liked this about him. We talked for a few days through messaging and text. Called and talked on the phone a few times and we decided to go on a date. The first time I saw him, I knew it right then (a gut feeling), this was it. I even text my Nana that night and told her that I was pretty sure I met my future husband. A text she still has to this day. Fast forward a year later, we go to the beach for what I thought was just a family get away. Turns out the whole weekend was planned just for Steven to propose. Now here we are planning our wedding, getting ready for the biggest day of our lives! We are so blessed that God put us in each others lives when he did. I never knew how much I could love my best friend! We both cannot wait to be able to get married in the presence of all our friends and family as we become husband and wife! Blessed is a true understatement!! See you all at the chapel!

En esta época, tratar de encontrar tu para siempre es cada vez más difícil. Especialmente cuando son padres solteros y trabajan a tiempo completo. Ser capaz de salir e intentar conocer a alguien es difícil. Entonces, ¿qué haces para tratar de encontrar a tu alma gemela? Bueno, vaya a una aplicación de citas, por supuesto lol. Cuando dices eso en voz alta parece un poco vergonzoso, pero algo por lo que Steven y yo estamos muy agradecidos hoy. Un día decidí que estaba lista para empezar a salir de nuevo. Así que abrí una cuenta en Match.com y comencé a buscar a mi alrededor para ver si había alguien con quien sentía que tenía algún interés en común. Bueno, eso fue un GRAN NO! Permítanme decirles que hay gente muy extraña ahí. Después de estar en el sitio por solo 2 días, pensé que esto no iba a funcionar. Estaba a punto de borrar mi cuenta cuando llega el Sr. Villatoro enviándome un mensaje. Fue muy dulce y muy directo sobre quién era y sus intenciones. Realmente me gustó esto de él. Hablamos durante unos días a través de mensajes de texto y mensajes de texto. Llamamos y hablamos por teléfono un par de veces y decidimos ir a una cita. La primera vez que lo vi, lo supe en ese momento (un presentimiento), esto fue todo. Incluso le envié un mensaje de texto a mi Nana esa noche y le dije que estaba bastante segura de haber conocido a mi futuro esposo. Un texto que todavía tiene hasta el día de hoy. Un año después, vamos a la playa para lo que pensé que era solo una escapada familiar. Resulta que todo el fin de semana fue planeado solo para que Steven lo proponga. ¡Ahora aquí estamos planeando nuestra boda, preparándonos para el día más grande de nuestras vidas! Somos tan bendecidos que Dios nos puso en la vida de los demás cuando lo hizo. ¡Nunca supe cuánto podría amar a mi mejor amiga! ¡Ambos estamos ansiosos por casarnos en presencia de todos nuestros amigos y familiares para convertirnos en marido y mujer! ¡Bendito es un verdadero eufemismo! ¡Nos vemos en la capilla!
