ABSOLUTELY! A baraat is a celebratory Indian wedding procession for the groom involving live music and dancing. It is customary for the groom to travel to the wedding venue accompanied by family (which we consider all of our guests to be!) The baraat begins at 4:30 at The Foundry so bring your dancing shoes & join Deon as he makes his way into the venue. Watch this video for more info & inspiration: https://youtu.be/faUqPAYjAaQ
Semi-Formal or Festive We want everyone to feel their most comfortable so please feel free to bring / wear your favorite pair of kicks and get your fits off!
While we respect everyone's decision on how best to approach their personal health, we want to make sure everyone feels comfortable celebrating our big day. While there are currently no mandates from the city of Atlanta, please feel free to wear masks/coverings/etc that make you feel the most comfortable!
Spring in the city is Deon's favorite time of the year! Typically you can find the highs reaching the low 70s and at night be sure to grab a jacket because lows tend to stay in the 50s/60s. It's a beautiful time of the year in the city with low humidity, which if you are like Snigdha and sweat easily, is much appreciated!
There are 250 complimentary parking spots available at the venue. If you feel best driving to the venue, be sure to keep a pair of your most comfortable dancing shoes for the reception! However, feel free to Uber or Lyft ( both should provide military discounts, if applicable) as the venue is a close 2-5 mile distance from all recommended hotels.
While we love our little ones, we are keeping children in attendance limited to our family & bridal party. We hope our adults-only atmosphere allows everyone to let loose and enjoy an evening out.
