I first met Jesus while taking AP Spanish. He sweetly offered to help me with the class. I was struggling hard, and Spanish is his first language. Every day we'd meet in the library to talk through my classwork. We ended up cutting up and talking about everything but the class. However, I did improve my Spanish thanks to him! Over the weeks we learned that we have so much in common. I thought he was HILARIOUS- and I still do. I was amazed that our outlook on life was the same. We had a lot of the same views and goals. Our relationship just made sense. Everything was so easy. We confessed our feelings to each other on February 21, 2015. That was one of the best days of my life. Over the years, we have grown so much as a couple. We have learned so much from each other. I truly believe he has made me a better person. He taught me how to communicate better and to say exactly what I need. He's so wise. I taught him that you have to peel potatoes before boiling them lol. On December 29, 2020, he asked me to marry him. We had been talking about it since the first week we got together, but I was still so surprised. He still goes out of his way to surprise me. Of course I said yes. I didn't want to wait another year, so we're quickly planning our July wedding. I cannot wait to be his wife. I am so excited to spend my life with him. -Elizabeth
