FAQs

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, Garden Party Formal attire. For men, light colored suits are recommended. Tuxedos are optional and not required. For women, full length or midi length dresses are recommended. Colors, prints, and florals are also encouraged!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests should start arriving around 4:30pm so the ceremony can begin promptly at 5pm.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but our wedding is an adults-only event. We look forward to a night of drinks, dancing, and celebration with you! The only children attending are those who are part of our wedding party. There are plenty of child care options and in-hotel child care offerings if needed during your time in NYC. Please visit care.com or speak to your hotel concierge.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of free street parking around the venue. If you prefer to park in a garage, there are parking garages near Court Square for a fee.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know! We have informed our caterer of the allergies and dietary restrictions we are aware of (shellfish, mushrooms, nuts). We will have some gluten-free options available as well.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please visit the “Travel” section of the website for information about hotel blocks. It's also New York City so feel free to stay wherever you wish! There are plenty of public transit options to travel to our venue. Uber, Lyft, and Curb are available for ride sharing options.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There will be a welcome party for all our guests the night before at Draught 55! Drinks and bites will be served!
