happily ever after party

We are "eloping" to the Dolomites in Italy where we will have a private, intimate ceremony (just us two and an officiant) to exchange vows at the beautiful Lago di Braies on May 28th. Since we are eloping, we still wanted to find a way to celebrate our marriage with our amazing friends and family- and what better way than to throw a party in our hometown? We can't wait to share this special moment and celebrate with you!

We first met in 2006 at Easton Area High School. We were good friends in high school and would spend a lot of time together whether it be staying up all night chatting through AIM, writing each other letters in the mail, going skiing/snowboarding, or going to all the haunted houses in Pennsylvania. John was 3 grades ahead of Jen, and therefore left for college pretty soon after Jen started high school in 2008- but they stayed in touch. They would rekindle their relationship many years later in 2016, when Jen moved back to Easton, PA after graduating from UNC Chapel Hill. Jen was studying for her anatomy final exam, and John insisted on Jen taking a break from her studies to get dinner with him. Jen was hesitant, but agreed to go to catch up with an old friend. John showed up at Jen's house with a sugar free redbull (her favorite) and took her for dinner and drinks. Although they had not seen each other in 8 years, it was like no time had passed - and the rest is history. Their relationship endured 3 years of long distance as Jen pursued PA school in California. John proposed to Jen during a vacation to their favorite resort in Mexico- Excellence Playa Mujeres on September 22nd, 2023. They have 2 adorable cats named Duncan and Charlie who are their world. They just purchased their first home in Bath, PA in July 2024 and are looking forward to making many new memories in their new home.
