We first met at Vik's cousin's house, when Shilika's family went to meet her sister's in-laws. It didn't take long before we struck up a conversation and realized our friendship was inevitable. Although Vik left that night without a mere goodbye, Shilika was determined to gain a new friend and found him on Facebook! It wasn't long before short messages turn into long phone calls. Our friendship flourished and we began dating in fall of 2011. And so our adventures together began...

It was a beautiful winter morning in Mont Tremblant, Vik and Shilika had taken a cottage trip with a group of friends. Little did Shilika know, Vik was hiding the ring in his backpack. The group decided go snowshoeing and explore the area. With the help of one our friends, Vik located a bridge and decided to take a leap of faith. Vik got down onto one knee, snowshoe and all (after he missed his cue the first few times!). Her answer was of course, YES!
