As you make travel plans, we encourage our guests to arrive to Athens on Sunday, September 1st and depart on Sunday, September 8th. The wedding celebration on Aegina will take place from September 3rd through September 6th. While we highly recommend aligning your travel dates with our suggested timeframe, we understand that individual circumstances may vary.
Flight
Athens International Airport
Upon landing at Athens International Airport (ATH), you'll find several convenient transportation options to reach downtown Athens: Taxi/Uber: Taxis and Ubers are readily available outside the arrivals area. The journey to downtown Athens typically takes around 30-40 minutes, and the fare should be approximately €35-€50. Metro: The Athens Metro Line 3 (Blue Line) connects the airport with the city center. Trains run approximately every 30 minutes, and the journey to Syntagma Square or Monastiraki Station takes around 40 minutes. The fare is €10 for a one-way ticket. Bus: The Airport Express Bus X95 operates 24/7. The journey to Syntagma Square takes approximately 45-60 minutes. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket kiosks at the bus stop or directly from the driver for €6.

For a memorable stay in Athens, we recommend our guests plan for a total of 4 nights in the historic Greek capital. We suggest booking two nights upon arrival (September 1-3) and an additional two nights upon return from Aegina (September 6-8). Accommodations in Athens offer a range of options, from cozy Airbnb rentals to comfortable hotels, typically priced between $50 and $125 per night for two people. Please note that it is essential for all guests to be in Athens by 11 a.m. on September 3rd, as we will embark on our journey together to Aegina. However, guests have the flexibility to adjust their arrival and departure dates based on their preferences.

While on Aegina, we will be covering the expenses for the villa and for the transportation to planned events. Nestled atop a hill overlooking the mesmerizing Aegean Sea, this villa offers an enchanting retreat. Guests can relish in the serenity of the surroundings while enjoying the picturesque views of the sea and sunset from the comfort of the villa's pool and throughout the property. Conveniently situated near one of Aegina's finest beaches and the charming fishing village of Perdika, renowned for its delectable food taverns, the villa promises an unforgettable experience immersed in the island's natural beauty and local culture.
