We definitely do not have the romantic mushy love story like some couples do, it all started with a spoon. I had moved into a new condo with my best friend (Amanda) and it was the first night we were there, so we were still unpacking. Well, a friend (Deanna) of ours came over for dinner (takeout) and when we went to go eat there was no silverware. Deanna had remembered that her ex (Patrick), which they were still friends, lived a few buildings down from us. So, Deanna messaged Patrick to see if we could borrow some silverware, he said sure. So, we all walked down to their condo and that's when I first met Brian, he was Patrick's best friend/roommate. After that we would all hang out together with friends and started having a weekly Sunday cookout down by the pool. We were friends for a good year before anything really evolved into something more. A few dates and a camping trip later we finally became a couple. After we became a couple, we spent a lot of time together even more than we did before. It was probably 6 months into our relationship that he told me he loved me, and I said it immediately back. We were best friends who had fallen in love, and I couldn't have asked for anything more! 4 states and 9 years later, he proposed to me in the living room of our house with our dog Cola by his side and the rest is history <3
