Answer

Finley Catering has gone above and beyond to make our guests feel comfortable. This includes all necessary protocols for their venue and staff such as the following: - All employees of Finley Catering will be required to wear masks throughout the evening. This includes table servers, bartenders, bathroom attendants, and any other member of the staff. - The venue will have a trained sanitation team with specific duties prior and during the event. - All high touch point areas will be sanitized throughout the evening. - Hand sanitation stations will be available for our guests. - Temperature checks for our guests upon arrival. - All staff have gone through new training in accordance to COVID-19 guidelines. - Employee wellness and temperature checks will be required prior to entry for the evening.

Question

Will there be parking available for the reception?

Answer

Yes! We have secured complimentary parking for our guests at 904 Chestnut Street Parking. This lot is directly across from the 9th Street entrance to Ballroom At the Ben. The entrance to the lot is on 9th Street between Sansom Street and Chestnut Street. The parking lot has a large green park sign. For guests that will be staying at Hotel Monaco after the wedding, overnight parking is offered for an additional charge, billed directly to your room. The hotel is approximately an 8-minute walk to the venue. Hotel check in is 3:00 PM. Please view the Hotel & Parking tab for more details.

Question

What suggestions do you have for the hours between the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

The "Things To Do" section has some great choices to kill a few hours. Here are some additional details and ideas: - If you are planning on spending the night of the wedding in the city, this would be a prime opportunity to check into your room, drop your bags off, and relax for a few hours. As a reminder, we have a block of rooms reserved at Hotel Monaco, one of the closest hotels to the venue. We have discounted room rates available if you reserve prior to May 28th. Rooms can be canceled up to 72 hours before the check-in date. Please refer to the "Hotel & Parking" section for more details. - Grab lunch or a few drinks at nearby favorites like Red Owl Tavern (attached to Hotel Monaco), LaScala's, or Independence Beer Garden (seven minute walk from the venue). - For local residents, stop back home and relax for a few hours! This is ideal if you plan on wearing one outfit to the church and then coming to the reception in black tie attire. See you back at 6pm for Cocktail Hour!

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Black tie optional

Question

Is there an After Party?

Answer

YES! The after party will continue @ Ballroom At the Ben from 11:00 PM - 12:00 AM. It will include an open bar, assorted hot sandwiches and a DJ!

Question

Will there be transportation available for guests staying at the hotel?

Answer

Yes! We will have a 24-person shuttle available between 11pm-1am that will take guests back to Hotel Monaco. After a long night of partying, we want our guests to have a safe trip back to the hotel to end the night. The 24-person shuttle will make multiple trips during the 2-hour window for guests that do not want to stay until the end.
