Are there any fees going to Boracay island?

Answer

Yes, apart from the transportation fare, there are terminal fees and environmental fees. This can be arranged if you are booking your transport with your chosen hotel, or if you are using Southwest Tours, or if you are using Boracay iPass. Otherwise, fees can be paid at the Caticlan Jetty Port. For local tourist, terminal fee is PHP150 per way and the environmental fee is also PHP150 upon arrival to the island For foreign nationals, the terminal fee is PHP150 per way, and the environmental fee is PHP300 php upon arrival to the island

How come there's a need for boat transfer?

Answer

Boracay Island is separate from the mainland of Aklan, from which the Caticlan airport is located. It's a quick 10-20 minute transfer from the airport to Caticlan Jetty Port and another 10-15 minute boat ride to the island.

Can we use drone for filming?

Answer

Yes, drones are allowed; HOWEVER, you have to get a permit at least 1 month in advance of your travel date. There's a fee for a single drone application; the cost is around PHP10,000. If you need further information, please don't hesitate to ask Vien or Gio.

Should we tip porters? Is tipping necessary?

Answer

Tipping is not mandatory but highly encouraged. A small amount as little as PHP50 will be enough to tip them. Little help goes a long way. ;)

Answer

Once RSVP's are finalised, Vien will be messaging all ladies on the list and will give you the information for HMUA.

We want to try the "Things to do" in Boracay, where can we book them?

Answer

For water and land activities, there's heaps of local touring agents right in front of white beach otherwise, you can also book on klook. Also, Vien and Gio's wedding planner has contact persons too that can assist arranging your tour. Please message the couple if you want this pre-arranged.
