Questions

Question

Is San Miguel de Allende Safe?

Answer

Our guests safety is top of mind for us! San Miguel de Allende is a popular, well-established destination with a strong international community and thriving tourism scene. The areas where our events and accommodations are located are accustomed to visitors and operating as normal. We’re keeping a close eye on things and staying in touch with our local team. At this time, everything is moving forward as planned, and we look forward to celebrating together!

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend Querétaro International Airport (QRO) - it’s the closest and most convenient option and located about 1 hour and 15 minutes from San Miguel de Allende. The second best option is León/Guanajuato International Airport (BJX) that's approx. 1 hour and 40 minutes away. You can also fly into Mexico City (MEX), but note that it’s around 4 hours by car depending on traffic which can be unpredictable.

Question

How do we get to San Miguel from the airport?

Answer

We’ve added private transportation options in the "Transportation" tab, but many hotels are also happy to help arrange airport transfers directly.

Question

Do we need a rental car?

Answer

San Miguel is best explored on foot, and taxis or Ubers are easy to find if needed. Most hotels are centrally located, and transportation will be provided to and from the wedding venue.

Question

Can we bring our kids to the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place outdoors. We recommend bringing a light layer or shawl in case the evening cools off. Heels are welcome, but keep in mind that some areas may include grass or cobblestone.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you kindly RSVP by January 15, 2026.
