2020 was a challenging year for many around the world, yet for us, it marked the beginning of something beautiful. We first met as children in Nigeria, unaware that our paths would cross again years later in America. What started as a reconnection through shared memories blossomed into a deep friendship and, eventually, appreciation and love for each other. Despite the distance and time that had passed, the invisible thread connecting us never wavered. Now, five years later, we stand on the brink of a new chapter, planning to commit ourselves in marriage in the presence of our family and friends who have witnessed and cheered for us on our journey.
