Swanky, restored Art Deco club that serves creative, eclectic fare with live jazz music on stage nightly! Great place to go for our traveling guests or in between events, it opens at 5 PM and is a 3 minute walk from our venue!
Tommy's Detroit Bar & Grill
The family bar! Enjoy drinks and food at Stevie's favorite bar- owned by his Uncle Tommy. Tommy's Bar and Grill is a 23 minute walk from our venue or a quick 5 minute drive!
Campus Martius Park
For our traveling guests, Campus Martius provides hours of entertainment and things to do right in the heart of downtown Detroit. Enjoy a drink at The Beach, head across the street to Monroe and go putt putt, shop, and eat! Many great things to do near this area!
Detroit RiverWalk
The Detroit Riverfront has been named the best riverfront in the U.S.! Enjoy miles-long walk along the Detroit River filled with great sights!
Michigan & Trumbull
When you're in Detroit you have to get yourself some Detroit style pizza! While we will always recommend the originals Buddy's and Loui's, if you are looking for a unique spin on Detroit style pizza we love Michigan and Trumbull! Our favorites are the Woodward White (we love the baked ricotta!) and the Long Drive home (vodka sauce on pizza?? Say no more!).
Donut Cutter
Want a little sweet treat in the morning? Donut Cutter has the best donuts in town and is a favorite of ours! You may have to wake up early to get the best choices (they sell out fast!) but trust us, it's worth it!
Detroit Institute of Arts
For guests wanting to do less eating and shopping, wander over to the DIA! You will be amazed by the spectacular art collection that resides right here in Michigan! You can also head across the street to the Detroit Public Library which is a piece of artwork on its own! Enjoy all the beauty Detroit has to offer!
Michigan Central
We haven't had the opportunity to visit the remodel of this historic building but it will be open from June 21st to August 31 and running self guided tours on the first floor from 5-9 PM! Check it out and let us know how it is!
