Were getting married!

Matthew and Victoria met in art class at John Jay High School in 2016, during Victoria’s sophomore year and Matthew’s junior year. While they knew of each other then, they didn’t truly start talking until the following year, in 2017, when Victoria was a junior and Matthew a senior. As they spent more time together, they discovered how much they had in common. After many football games and school events often with Matthew attending so he could watch Victoria take photos he asked her to meet him at National Night Out at Jay. He told her he’d hang out with her while she took pictures, staying by her side throughout the evening. When the event ended, he took her across the street to the Mustang Café to eat. As it got darker and the night wound down, they sat together listening to Matthew’s favorite songs on his phone. One song in particular, “The Chair” by George Strait, became special to them, it’s their song now. Later that night, when Victoria got home, Matthew confessed that he had feelings for her and officially becoming a couple October 15th, 2017. From that point on, they’ve been inseparable always supporting one another through graduation and beyond. Both have now graduated: Matthew is pursuing his passion as an accountant, and Victoria is continuing her journey in mass communications. They remain each other’s biggest supporters every step of the way. On June 28, 2025, Matthew asked Victoria to spend forever with him at Canyon Lake, Texas. Now, they’re looking forward to the next chapter, excited to continue building a life together.
