In December of 2023, our story began—not by chance, but by God’s providence. Though we lived over 750 miles apart and had our settings limited to just a 50-mile radius, we were brought together on Facebook Dating in a way we cannot explain, only receive with gratitude. What seemed impossible to us was, in truth, already known by Him. At that time, we had both grown weary of searching. After weeks of disappointment, we each chose to step away, not knowing that our final match would be each other—the beginning of something God had already set in motion. Through months of phone calls and quiet conversations, distance gave way to something deeper. In time, a 12-hour long drive by Zachary brought us face to face, and what had been unfolding unseen became clear. After six months of long distance, we moved to Kansas, where we spent a year building a life together. We have since returned to Alabama, continuing forward into this next chapter with faith, gratitude, and trust in God’s guiding hand. Looking back, we do not see coincidence, but providence.
