It is a desert so please check the weather forecast beforehand to make sure that you will be comfortable throughout the day. The ground is sandy and uneven where the ceremony will take place so we suggest shoes that can handle a little off-roading action. Suggested attire: business casual for men, floral prints, dresses, whatever makes you look and feel good in pictures! Just no jeans, please.
The ceremony will be taking place inside of Joshua Tree National Park at the Hidden Valley Picnic Area. There can only be a total of 8 cars for the entire wedding party so we ask (in the nicest but firmest way possible) that our guests carpool. There is an entrance fee to enter into JTNP ($30/car). Additionally there is no reception in most of the park, and no reception at the ceremony location. Give yourselves plenty of time (and pre-load your GPS with the directions!) to arrive early for the ceremony.

We will bring the party indoors at 9:30pm to comply with local sound ordinances and our rental agreement. Please be respectful of this and don't get us kicked out of our place! There is no overnight parking available so plan accordingly. Street parking only.
