Question
What is the dress code?
Answer
We would love to see our family & friends dress up for our day in your best Fall cocktail attire! Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white. The ceremony will be held outside.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
Our ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. We kindly request that you arrive 30 minutes early to assure you don't miss anything! This will also give you time to park and find your seat.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be silenced and put away. We want everyone to be full present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best photos! Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us! Thank you!

Can I bring a guest/date?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one it will appear with your name on your invite. Thank you for understanding!

If I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?
Answer
Lowgap, NC is a small town, so we recommend looking at nearby cities like Mount Airy for more options. We have a block at Hampton Inn in Mount Airy—more details can be found in the "Travel" tab at the top of the page!

What are the options for parking and transportation to the venue?
Answer
The venue offers plenty of on-site parking. If you’re staying at the Hampton Inn Mt. Airy and would like to use a shuttle service to and from the venue, please let us know on your RSVP. Please note that The Shiloh is located in the scenic mountains of North Carolina, so rideshare options may be limited.

We have decided to make this an adult-only celebration. We hope you take this as an opportunity to enjoy a fun date night!

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes! We will have a full bar supplying unlimited drinks all night long.
