Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RVSP by August 15, 2022. If we have not received your RSVP or heard from you directly by August 15 we will assume that you will not be attending and there will not be a seat for you at the ceremony or the reception. Please respond in a timely manner.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The church will be open and allow guests to arrive anytime after 2:00 p.m. The ceremony will start at 3:00 p.m.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, cocktail or semi-formal attire is asked of. Please, no jeans, shorts, t-shirts etc. "Cocktail attire is a balance between formal, elegant and comfortable. To an event with this dress code, such as a wedding, men typically wear a suit, tie, slacks or dress shirts while women wear a cocktail dress, pantsuit with heels etc."

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation notes a +1 then yes, you are welcome to bring a date. If your invitation does not include a +1 we ask that you please do not invite a guest.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love to watch your children dance and play, October 15 is going to be an adults-only kind of day.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have blocked a set of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chatham South, 575 Richmond St., and at the Comfort Inn 1100 Richmond St. These rooms are first come first serve. We ask if you need a room to please call as soon as possible. Rooms need to be booked before September 13, 2022. After this date the rooms will no longer be blocked under our names. Please review the "Hotel Blocks and Travel" tab on this website or review your details card in your invite package for more information on how to book.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Of course! Please indicate any allergies on your RSVP card.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample parking at the John D. Bradley Centre (reception hall). Please note that parking around St. Andrews Church (ceremony location) is limited with only a small parking lot on the side of the church. You may be required to park on the road. Please DO NOT park within the spots sectioned off in front of the church, this is blocked for the bridal parties vehicle to arrive once everyone is seated. You are able to park across the road at the Dutch Market or on any of the side streets that allow parking.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer
