First and foremost, Victoria and I would like to give all the honor and glory to our heavenly Father, for without Him none of this would even be possible. Secondly, we would like to thank each and everyone of you for taking the time to visit our website and allowing us to share our courtship with you. Victoria and I met on a online dating service. After a few connects, it wasn't working for either of us and we both were about to give up our online search. It was early one Monday morning in March, Victoria reached out to me and said "Hello Handsome". I was totally caught off guard because it was 4:30 in the morning, the time in which I would be waking up and getting ready for work. After carefully reviewing Victoria's profile and bio I must say, I was very impressed and I thought to myself, I'd be crazy not to respond back to her and so I did.

After many conversations on the phones, Victoria and I decided to go on a met and greet. We both agreed that we would go somewhere public, so we decided to go to Top Golf and afterwards take-in a movie. Since Top Golf was in Scottsdale, Az, we decided to go in one car, Victoria offered to drive and said I could meet her at her house but she warned me and said "if you try any funny business I will cut you", oh I knew she was the one. Needless to say, we had a wonderful time and wanted to give it another shot. On March 17, 2018 Victoria invited me to go to one of her best friends wedding and it was such a beautiful ceremony. We had a wonderful time and afterwards we became a couple.

After many months of courting, I made up my mind and decided that Victoria was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Since we had planned on being in Dallas, TX for Thanksgiving this is where I would ask Victoria to be my wife, so I would called on her 3 daughters (Deondrea, Aniya, & Erika) AKA the planners. Deondrea called me one day to see how I was doing, this was my opportunity to ask her for their help in which I did. As soon as I told her what my plans were she cried like a baby with joy, and she said "Steve we got you", it was on from there. I must admit, I didn't know how well my planners would be able to keep my secrete but they did. Over the course of the next few months we would be back and forth over the phone talking about rings, color schemes, and music playlists, they were so helpful. Finally on Thanksgiving morning, I was so nervous because I just didn't know how things were going to turn out. We finally arrived to Victoria's mothers house for dinner, the girls ran outside to distract their mother and rushed me into the living room where everything was all decorated and Victoria's favorite love song playing. Victoria walked down the hallway thinking Ericka's boyfriend was going to ask her to marry him, but to her surprise there I was standing in the living room with my hand extended, and as she approached me I descended to one knee and asked her to be my wife and there was not a dry eye in the house. This was such an awesome Thanksgiving Day, the proposal went well and the dinner was awesome, what a day to remember. So there you have it, this is our story.
