Sullivans Island

we went here on our first date! We suggest walking the beach, seeing the lighthouse, and getting a bite to eat at the beach restaurants (Poe's has amazing burgers!).

South of Broad

The most dreamy area! We recommend taking a lengthy walk along the Battery and enjoying the tip of the peninsula, White Point Gardens. Strolling by the historic homes and enjoying their charm never gets old. Don't forget to walk by the classic Rainbow Row.

Fort Sumter Ferry Terminal

There is a ferry that will take you out to Fort Sumter from downtown! We recommend taking the trip out for fun adventure exploring where the first shots of the Civil War were fired.

Nathaniel Russell House

There is nothing like touring one of the 1800s homes of Charleston! We recommend touring this beautifully preserved home and learning more about the local history.

King Street

The place to shop! We recommend taking your time and strolling/shopping your way through King Street. Lower King Street has the classic antique and high end clothing stores while Upper King Street has the fun boutiques and restaurants.

The place for truffle duck sandwiches! Enjoy this casual Charleston classic on the back porch.

College of Charleston

Another beautiful walk! We recommend taking your time walking through the College's Cistern. It was even featured in the Notebook and other Nicholas Sparks movies.
