Sam & Victoria met on Bumble in August of 2016. Victoria was stubborn and wouldn't go on a date with Sam at first but FINALLY, in January of 2017, Victoria agreed to meet Sam in person. Their first date was at South House, a local bar that was around the corner from Sam's house in South Philly where they chatted and watched the Sixers game. After getting home from the date, the first thing Victoria told her mom was, "game over...this is the man I'm going to marry one day".
Sam's original plan was to propose to Victoria when they were visiting Dalton Farms to pick sunflowers. However, due to COVID related issues plans got changed. About a month later, Sam & Victoria, along with their sisters, went to Longwood Gardens for the Christmas display. Sam popped the question and Victoria immediately said YES!!, but needed a minute to sit and process what just happened. After the engagement, Sam surprised Victoria with a small engagement party with our immediate families. FUN FACT: some things in our house have our original engagement date on them, find it and maybe you'll win a prize.
