We're Getting married!

Victoria lived on the same floor in college as Preston's high school friends, two doors down from their now Best Man. Preston's high school friends became Victoria's college friends. Although Preston visited NDSU many times, Preston and Victoria didn't cross paths until their senior year when Preston visited Fargo for the Bison Homecoming Game. After Homecoming weekend, the two didn't keep in touch. Luckily, Preston and Victoria ran into each other on a night out with friends the following March. They danced all night and remembered to exchange contact information this time. The timing was just right. They became inseparable, visiting each other almost every weekend for the remainder of the school year.

Victoria and Preston were on a trip to visit their friend, Lauren, in California. The two took a day trip to Laguna Beach on the last day of their trip. Preston made a reservation at what he researched to be the best restaurant in Laguna Beach and followed the lunch date at a gelato shop. They made their way to the beach to which Preston suggested a better spot a few miles up the road he had "stumbled upon" when he was researching the area for a restaurant. When they arrived, they realized it was not a short walk from the car, but the view was totally worth it. Preston got down on one knee on the shoreline while Lauren hid in the background capturing their engagement on camera.
