September 4th Welcome Party: The Beacon Pub is approximately 30 minutes from the Marriot. September 5th Wedding Day: Shuttle transfer to the venue has been arranged for our guests from the Marriot to the venue. Taxis will arrive at 3:00 pm to the Marriott, reserved under "Victoria and Oliver's Wedding", and will take you to Hever Castle for a 3:30 pm arrival. Once you are dropped off, you can make your way to the Loggia where the ceremony will take place. Please note that guests will need to arrange their own taxi back to Marriott after the wedding festivities (we don't know when each person wants to stop the party!). Arriving at the Hotel - Check in will be at 3pm on Thursday, September 4th. - Give your name at the reception desk and they will help you with room payment and additional details about your stay. Note: We've got plenty of guests all staying at Hever Hotel, so there will be plenty of opportunity to share rides among friends :) Wedding Day September 5th Since you are staying on the grounds, you can walk over to the Italian Gardens ceremony beginning at 3:30pm, please ensure you have arrive no later than 4pm. The way to the ceremony will be clearly sign posted on the day. Complimentary shuttles for guests staying at Hever Castle hotel will be provided at the end of the wedding celebrations to escort you back to hotel rooms.
Guests staying at Hever castle hotel: Arriving at Hever Castle, you will access the Astor Wing car park through the private gate. You will need to use the "Astor Wing" button on call box to be buzzed in. All parking is complimentary for Hever hotel guests during their stay. Guests driving to the Wedding for the day: Parking is provided at Hever Castle during the ceremony and evening event at the Lake View car park. Arrival to the Italian Gardens will be clearly signposted on the day via the Lake View Car Park. When you arrive at the main entrance to the Castle grounds just advise the parking attendant that you are guests for the wedding and they will direct you to the Lake View Car Park. The postcode for the carpark is TN8 7NG. Parking is not permitted overnight and all cars that are not guests staying at Hever hotel must be off site at the end of the night at 1.00am
The use of confetti, rose petals and rice is unfortunately not permitted anywhere within the castle grounds so please do not bring any with you.
