Victoria's Version: Some may call it June's gloom, but I call it June's bloom because the best of life has happened for me during that time. It has always been my favorite because it's my birthday month and helllllooo summmerr! But, little did I know that June would also be the month I met the love of my life! Nicholas and I met at the Wayfarer in Costa Mesa, a lounge with regular live music. I remember the moment Nicholas and I first met. He was standing right behind me when I turned around and we first locked eyes. We both had big friendly smiles across our faces- I said "hi" and we danced the night away. The acquaintance I had come with tried to deter Nicholas by telling him I was not interested when I excused myself for a moment towards the end of the night. However, this did not dissuade Nicholas as he remained there until I returned. When I left for the night he made sure I had his number and he had mine. As I walked away I called out "goodbye Nick!" with a big smile and wave. At that moment, Nicholas knew not to believe what my acquaintance had told him! Nick, to the moon and back, I'll dance with you among the stars, forever and always, I’ll love you. We hope that you'll join us for yet another most magical night in June for our Wedding at the Lake Arrowhead Resort, 6/20/26! Nicholas' Version: June 4th, 2022 brought me my new calling. It led me a to new path that I had to follow to the end. Before then, I was settled in having moved into a new place six months prior. So much so, a couple of weeks before I had gotten two cats. Safe to say, I needed a night out. However after my shift at Rib Co, I was still so close to staying home. I was laying in my bed and could not shake that feeling that I really needed to go out. So, I popped up and headed to the local lounge, Wayfarer, alone and wandered around not knowing what I was looking for until she turned around. As soon as our eyes met I knew why I was there. Her eyes brought enthusiasm and adventure I had to follow. It was our destiny moment. The right time, right place and perfect person. From there, I held onto a fearless whirlwind through the night. Time flew by so much so that Wayfarer could not keep up. We closed down Costa Mesa. By the end of the night I realized the extent to which I needed to make sure I saw her again, and Victoria made sure I left with enthusiasm. She waved and yelled out a parting as she was ushered away by her acquaintance. A humorous scene. I needed to see her again and from there our love and our adventure has repeated and grown and will continue to. Leading us all to Lake Arrowhead this June! We are so happy and blessed to see all you, our favorite people, to celebrate the rest of our lives together. Words can't reflect how exciting this is for us. Thank you for being such important people in our lives, without all of you helping us on this journey, this would not be possible. Lake Arrowhead here we come!!
