Can I bring my kids ?

Answer

While we love your little ones and wish we could accommodate them all, we are keeping our celebration an adults-only event. The only children that will be attending our wedding are those of immediate family members who have roles in the wedding party. We appreciate your understanding, and feel free to reach out to us with any questions.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We invite you to join us in your favorite cocktail attire! For the ladies, long and short dresses or a stylish jumpsuit would be appropriate. Suits or dressy separates such as dress pants and a blazer are acceptable for the men. We want everyone to feel elegant but comfortable! Our ceremony will take place outside, but the remainder of the festivities will be inside. The weather in October in western Maine can be unpredictable, so consider bringing an extra layer for the ceremony in case it is chilly!

Will a meal and drinks be provided?

Answer

Our ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour filled with appetizers and bar services. A full dinner will be served following cocktail hour and menu selections will be available to guests as the date approaches.

How do I get to the outdoor ceremony?

Answer

A shuttle departing from the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel will be provided to take you up to the ceremony at the Sugarloaf golf course. Shuttle service will begin at 3PM. We kindly request you do not drive your own vehicle up to the ceremony as there is limited parking. The shuttle will be available following the ceremony to take you back down to the cocktail hour and reception.

Will there be places to eat on the resort ?

Answer

There are multiple eateries throughout the resort, although it is important to note that the month of October is between seasons for Sugarloaf so options may be more limited. Any guests arriving after 9PM on the Friday before the wedding will want to plan to eat on the way as late night options will be limited. Breakfast will be available daily at 45 North restaurant located in the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel.
