Things To Do

Downtown Troy

While you're visiting the Farmers Market check out our favorite eateries: *Little Pecks for coffee *Naughters for a sit down breakfast *The Placid Baker for sweets *Whistling Kettle for tea and biscuits *Defazios Pizzeria *Ali Baba's for Mediterranian *Plum Blossom for Chinese *La Capital Tacos for Tacos and of course, check out all the farm stands for great produce, flowers, and art!

Albany's Warehouse District

942 Broadway, Albany, NY 12204

Albany's warehouse district is the up and coming new spot for craft breweries and cideries. Check out a few of our frequent stops: *Nine Pin Cider *Fort Orange *Druthers *Fidens *Lost and Found *The Copper Crow and if you're in the mood for ramen check out our favorite ramen spot Tampopo

Albany Pine Bush Preserve

195 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205

Nathan and I love taking walks in the Albany Pine Bush. It's one of the best and last remaining examples of an inland pine barrens ecosystem on Earth. Take a walk through the sandy soils and enjoy finding lupine, karner blue butterflies, and lots of other wildlife within the heart of the tri-city region.

Thacher State Park

830 Thacher Park Road, Voorheesville, NY 12186

Nathan and Tori love to take hikes, mountain bike rides, xc skiing trips, and backcountry ski trips throughout Thacher Park. It has a lot to offer! Thacher has a large trail system and beautiful views overlooking the Hudson Valley. If you're into rocks, you should check out the Emma Treadwell Nature Center that's within the park.
